I have been taking freelance work for a living. I know how it sounds like for someone who is working at 9 to 6 job. most of them usually wish a job like me.
I always believe that whatever job you do, wherever you are. If you even enjoy sweeping the floor you will feel happy and blissful.
I took freelancing because I was frustrated over many things at once. I was never happy with the decisions that were taken at my workplace. I always believed that the business that they are doing is not up to the mark. And they can do it better.
But I am doing it better? To some extent yes. I say to some extent because freelancing has its own challenges and variabilities all the time. You need to be sharp, you need to be updated on all the latest trends that are happening in your field. You should be more proactive in learning and it goes on. The moment you stop learning you will die. You will start to die slowly.
In Negative terms, it is a challenging job to be more active being in the profession that is the reason I decided to build my blog website so that I can stay in practice and keep myself updated all the time.
You will get enough time for everything you want to do. Say, if you want to join any meditation classes, any music classes, any new classes that you want to learn and more. You are always open to possibilities all the time. You need to make use of these in every possible way you can. Yet, you need to be careful as you may feel to sleep for a while. And end up missing all the things you have planned for.
Keeping things on the schedule will be biggest challenge of all time when you are working as a freelancer. You often lose your focus towards work and tend to be inconsistent many times.
Conclusion: You can working from anywhere you want but it all matters upon what is your level of commitment. You cannot simply procrastinate your work ignoring the outcomes of your work.
It is better to have consistency in the work that you do on a regular bases.
