There are many digital marketing classes out there. But, which of them are genuine? how is teaching?
- Don’t fall for testimonials.
- Don’t read reviews
- Don’t believe whatever the person tells you before joining.
- Never ask students about it
- Never come to the conclusion by looking at some social media posts.
Testimonials are often made up I myself have given a positive testimonial to an academy. If you google my name probable you could read my testimonial. These are often exchanged for jobs. These are jobs are like some small patch up such as the reality will be horrific and these placements often look like a small firm with an average salary.
If you really want to know about the academy then you should find out a different way to gauge their authenticity. I will tell you those things later on this page
Reviews are often made-ups they are again exchanged for job placements. They usually force and follow-up with their student for reviews. They are not ready to be harsh until they get a job. Once they get a job they will start to follow up on review once they get any positive review they will forget every promise they made before joining their classes.
The insights might be true, the number of job openings might be true, but you never know the advancement of the field. You need to educate yourself before you looking for such digital marketing classes. They usually show you all positive aspects and never tell you anything about what exactly happening in the field of digital marketing.
Trust me they never know a thing about the latest.
Never ask the students those who are learning digital marketing. Because, as far as I know over 90% of students are expecting something like things gonna happen on their own. Most of them will be doing digital marketing course just for the sake of getting a job. Another way around most of them usually learns digital marketing to upscale their skills or promotion at the job.
Social media posts are not the best way to gauge the credibility of any institution. I have been in digital marketing for like 3 years now. Most of them are made-ups they are not genuine. The placements are not been given by the academy. It is totally an effort of someone who spent his/her time and money to learn digital marketing.
So, the question remains unanswered. How to choose the right digital marketing academy?
You really don’t need any digital marketing classes. All the required content is available for free on the internet. You need to have a proper sequence to learn and follow. And for that reason you need a class, you need someone called a teacher who can guide you in the right direction.
Foremost you need to have knowledge about basic level marketing. If you don’t you are going to get grinded with all non-productive works that aren’t related to you nitch. It is very important to understand the basic level of marketing because it gonna help you a lot at work. Especially when you are targeting the specific audience. It will make you understand their perspective as well.
Now, digital marketing academies never tell you that you need marketing skills or you need to have relevant experience. Because they want to flash some quick cash from you. They are usually not concerned about your career. You don’t give importance to your future.
If you want to negotiate well during the interview you need to have a portfolio online. It is proof of your work. A non-concerned digital marketing academy never tell you this. They are always in a hurry to finish off all classes and get you placed somewhere where there will be no productivity in the long run.
Conclusion: Do not join any digital marketing agency by its appearance. The inside story might be untold to the large as they are benefited in some or the other way.
Take your time. See if they can actually prove your real work while you learn digital marketing. Enquire about internship after learning digital marketing.
